Our roof cleaning is carried out using specialist professional pressure cleaning equipment. This means that the roof tiles will be fully deep cleaned in the minimum time possible with as little disturbance to you or your neighbours.
The roof cleaning process will remove all moss, algae, lichen and any other dirt residue that have contaminated your roof over time. Throughout the roof cleaning process we will make sure that downpipes are protected, with the gutters fully cleaned out and left clear of any residue from the roof.
All ground floor areas are covered with sheeting or tarpaulin's with all roof detritus removed from the site
At the end of your roof being cleaned, the walls, windows and perimeter of your home is left in the same condition as prior to the work commencing
Roof Moss Removal
On roof tiles generally older than 15 years, the build-up of moss on a roof not only looks unsightly, but can cause damage to the structure of the roof and damage the roof tiles.
Allowing moss to grow on your roof can lead to problems gutter and downpipes can become partially or fully blocked which can lead to broken guters, weeight of wet moss causes stresses on the roof and tiles, Freeze and thaw of wet moss can cause tile breakages
With our roof cleaning service we offer full moss removal and fungicidal treatment. The fungicide will be applied once the roof has been cleaned and will kill of any remaining spores,The application of the fungicide will also help protect against future moss, algae and lichen growth.After the moss has been completely removed, we would recommend an application of a roof coating or roof sealer. This will make the roof tiles water resistant, reducing the risk of further moss growth

After a thorough roof clean and preparation to ensure that the structure is sound and all roof repairs are completed, we will start applying either a clear or one of the 6 coloured protective roof coatings
We will initially cut in by hand the perimeter of the tiled area to restrict any over-spray to any adjoining property The remaining areas are then coated with professional airless spray equipment: this ensures accurate and efficient application. The first of the two applications is a heavier coat that penetrates deeply into the structure of the tile to ensure longevity in colour as well as providing an efficient depth of water resiliency.After a suitable drying time, a second coating is applied adding further depth of colour and increase the protective barrier to the elements
